As a committed NGO in Cambodia, EKL supports vulnerable families who are determined to give their children a future through education. Just a stone's throw from the public school, our day care Centre provides a safe environment. Here, every child receives academic support, nutritious meals and rigorous hygiene monitoring, as well as enriching sports and creative activities.

Our mission A holistic approach
To ensure sustainable impact, EKL focuses on four essential pillars designed to support vulnerable children and their families:
Quality education
Combating school dropout through:
- Daily, personalised academic support.
- Provision of educational materials and access to a library.
- Academic and professional guidance.
Health and nutrition
A hungry child cannot learn. Since growing up healthy is the foundation of all development, our aid includes:
- Balanced meals and access to drinking water.
- Provision of hygiene kits and clean clothes.
- Comprehensive medical and dental care for all children.
- Programmes to raise awareness of hygiene, nutrition and health.
Arts, sports, and games
Childhood should be a time of joy. We therefore offer:
- Sports: Football, swimming, yoga, table tennis, badminton and volleyball.
- Cultural activities: Khmer and international dances, singing and creative workshops (sewing, crafts).
- Books and toy library: for learning while having fun.
Family support
We know that a child’s environment is crucial. We work hand-in-hand with parents, offering guidance and support. Strengthening the community is essential for sustainable humanitarian aid:
- Emergency food aid and support for young mothers.
- Parenting support.
- Maintenance of a community vegetable garden for sustainable food.

These last few months have been very rewarding, even though they flew by. Every moment spent at EKL was unique in its own way, whether with the children or with the team. I am glad to have been able to participate in the life of the centre and to have led projects that will be useful for the future!
