We are particularly looking for:
- People who are available for at least 8 weeks or more;
- Fluent in English;
- People who are willing to participate in the collective life of the Centre;
- Volunteers who are able to act with humility and respect for other cultures.

Event planning, communication and fundraising

Daily awareness-raising on good practices (hand washing, tooth brushing), distribution of balanced meals.

Family follow-up, gardening. Your help contributes directly to maintaining a stable, safe and conducive learning environment for the most vulnerable children.

How to Apply
We take the safety and stability of our children seriously. Therefore, our recruitment process is thorough to ensure a good fit for both you and the organization.
- Contact us: Send us an email with your CV and a cover letter explaining why you want to volunteer in Cambodia with EKL.
- Interview: We will arrange a video call to discuss your motivations, your availability, and our current needs.
- Preparation: Once approved, we will provide you with a welcome pack and guidelines to prepare for your mission (visa, accommodation advice, cultural codes).
- Arrival: You are welcomed at the Center and introduced to the team and children.

I could never have imagined the incredible human adventure that awaited me. My encounter with the EKL organisation is one of those that can be described as a “happy coincidence”. The right encounter, the right time, the right place. Any change in one of these variables would have led to a different experience... and I wouldn't change a thing!
We committed to two and a half months with the Enfants de Klang Leu association. We chose to go as a family with our two children, aged 5 and 8, and it was probably the most wonderful experience of our lives as a family of four!
In a nutshell... the reasons for our commitment were to discover another world together (another culture, another language, other needs and priorities) in order to get away from our ‘Western and comfortable’ lifestyle. We wanted to try to share our knowledge and our time to help people in need.
